After leaving the bank, I soon discovered that the grass is not always greener. My decision to leave became one of my biggest regrets. That’s why it’s amazing to be back home at the Bank – and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead.

In my busy and interesting role as Technical Delivery Manager, I help bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully and contribute to our strategy. I establish the technical direction for development and testing strategies, offering technical guidance along the way. Additionally, I collaborate closely with key stakeholders within our organisation to achieve project goals, delivering efficient, secure, and scalable software solutions.

Working here is the latest chapter in a rewarding career, which spans over 37 years in software solution development and programme management within various industries.

It has been a great pleasure to rejoin the Bank. I am immensely proud to work for an institution that upholds integrity and ethical values and fosters a ‘One Team’ culture that encourages collaboration, responsibility, and mutual support among colleagues. I am proud of the colleagues I work with in my teams, whose dedication to excellence and ability to consistently deliver outstanding results inspire me daily.

I’ve seen many changes since rejoining the Bank, specifically the emergence of a clear and strong vision for growth, and the ‘One Team’ culture, which is supporting colleagues and collaboration. Yet the professional, friendly, and supportive attitude of our people – who consistently help one another and cultivate a positive work environment – has remained constant.

Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about the future successes of the Bank, as we have some exciting plans to develop and improve our capabilities.
