My career had mainly been focussed in customer service when, in 2018, I decided that I’d like to try something different, and I joined Al Rayan Bank as a Management Information and Data Specialist.
I joined as a part time Contact Centre Agent, then as a Customer Service and Sales Advisor, supporting relationship management and networking with customers. I then took an opportunity to move to the Direct Sales team full time, which is where I work now as a Direct Sales specialist.
What initially attracted me to work at Al Rayan Bank, was the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in areas beyond my specific role; to deal with multiple departments including senior management; and have ample scope to add value and influence decision making.
I joined the Bank five years ago as Real Estate team manager. During my time in the Bank I have had this single role, but it has evolved so much that I’ve had great opportunities to learn and develop.
